Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager with over 12 years of proven track record in AI/ML and Data Analytics product line. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale government projects, along with a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and data analytics methodologies. The role requires hands-on experience in objection handling, team management, and a strong ability to drive project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for AI/ML and Data Analytics projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, and product management to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and track progress against project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively address any roadblocks to ensure project success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and effectively communicate project status, updates, and issues.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in AI/ML, Data Analytics, and project management methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in AI/ML and Data Analytics product line, with a focus on managing large government projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with hands-on experience in objection handling and conflict resolution.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data analytics methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in government or public sector projects is a plus.
