Engineering Manager (python)

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a talented engineering team.
• Manage team performance and conduct quarterly appraisals.
• Handle resource planning and hiring initiatives.

Agile & Delivery Management:

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Plan and manage sprints and releases.
• Monitor team velocity and sprint metrics.
• Ensure timely delivery of features and adherence to roadmap commitments.
• Allocate tasks and manage workload balance.

Hands-On Technical Oversight:

• Be hands-on in relevant technologies and assist in firefighting when required.
• Enforce coding standards and development best practices.
• Oversee code reviews to maintain high technical quality.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordinate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage discussions around bugs, issues, and technical fixes.

Solution Ownership:

• Take responsibility for overall tech delivery.
• Manage solution architecture ensuring scalability and performance.
• Facilitate demos, Proof of Concepts (PoC), and Technology Evaluations (TeC).
• Support DevOps and deployment processes.

Strategic Alignment:

• Ensure technical decisions align with architectural and business objectives.
• Proactively remove impediments and support continuous improvement.
